A Family of Faith, Hope, and

Love

At our church, we believe that we are more than a congregation—we are a family in Jesus Christ. As God's family, we are called to share life's joys and burdens with one another.

A Swedish proverb wisely says, "Shared joy is double joy; shared sorrow is half a sorrow."

When we celebrate together, our happiness grows. When we carry one another's burdens, our sorrows become lighter.

The Bible reminds us of the strength we find in Christian fellowship:

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."— Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NIV)

As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect the same sacrificial love that Jesus showed us. Our love for one another becomes a visible testimony of our faith.

It is through genuine love, compassion, forgiveness, and service that the world recognizes us as Christ's disciples.

The Apostle Peter reminds us: "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4:8) Love gives us hope when life is difficult. Love strengthens our trust in God and in one another.

Love enables us to endure hardships with patience and grace. As we continue to grow in faith, God's love naturally becomes visible through our words, attitudes, and actions. The Apostle Paul also reminds us that we are not simply individuals gathering in one place.

Together, we are God's dwelling place:

"In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit." (Ephesians 2:21–22)

What a beautiful picture of the Church! Each member is an important part of God's work, and together we become a spiritual home where His presence is made known.

May we continue to love one another just as Christ has loved us. Let us encourage one another, pray for one another, rejoice together, and stand together through every season of life. As one family in Jesus Christ, may we grow in faith, abound in hope, and live in love—so that God's Spirit may be glorified in and through us.
