The Soul Presence of Our Table

For thirty years, Spooner United Methodist Church has had the joy of serving our neighbors through our Community Dinner ministry. Brother Ron LaBumbard started this initiative, and Linda Lutz, along with many dedicated volunteers, has faithfully continued it. These dinners have become a space of warmth, friendship, and belonging. Every dish is homemade, prepared with love and the hope that each guest feels at home. We envision the smiles around the table as we cook, recalling stories like that of a guest who, despite health challenges, finds joy. Community Dinner takes place every third Wednesday of the month from 4 to 6 PM. Come as you are—bring your family or a friend—and enjoy good food and warm company. There’s always a place for you at the table.
